Arai HR-X HELMET

Arai has a new helmet out, the HR-X. The design is based on the popular XD-4, with some added features. The shell is made from a new carbon fiber blend that Arai is calling “Super Fibre”. This material is said to be lighter and stronger than standard carbon fiber. The ventilation has also been updated, with 10 intake and exhaust vents. There are also six new intake vents on the top of the helmet.
The shape of the helmet has also been tweaked. It’s now more round and sleek, in an attempt to reduce wind noise and drag. The interior liner has also been updated, with new “Eco Pure” fabric that’s claimed to be more absorbent and breathable than previous liners.
