Expert ScoreRead review

Although NanRobot has previously manufactured some high-performing e-scooters, the D6+ is without a doubt in a class of its own. The two independent 1000W brushless motors on this scooter are powered by a large 50V 26AH battery. With such power, this vehicle can go up to 45 miles (72 kilometres) on a single charge and attain a top speed of 40 mph (64 km/h). It also has Eco and Turbo settings, as well as switches to engage or disable the second motor for greater power and speed regulation. Because it has all-wheel drive, you won’t have to worry about skidding or getting trapped on muddy roads.

NanRobot D6+ Summary

Despite the fact that NanRobot has previously created several high-performing e-scooters, there is no denying that the D6+ is in a class of its own. The two separate 1000W brushless motors on this scooter are powered by a huge 50V 26AH battery. With such strength, this vehicle can go up to 45 miles (72 km) on a single charge at a top speed of 40 mph (64 km/h). For greater control of power and speed, it also has controls to activate or disable the second motor as well as Eco and Turbo settings. Because of its all-wheel drive, you won’t have to worry about sliding or getting trapped on slick roads.

The D6+ has thoughtful safety precautions in addition to its power characteristics. For improved stability and comfort, it has a long, wide deck and a strong frame made of low-density aluminum alloy. Second, on every surface, the 10-inch pneumatic off-road tires provide unsurpassed traction and rolling economy. This beast can handle even the roughest roads when the C-type dual-spring hydraulic suspension is added to the equation.

The Nanrobot D6+ needs exceptional braking power to keep up with its power and speed, and in this regard, it also excels. For secure and dependable stopping, the e-scooter combines electrical and hydraulic brakes. Both were so potent that they may knock you off-balance if you weren’t ready before stopping, according to our assessment.

Additionally, night riders were considered in the design of the Nanrobot D6+ electric scooter. The taillights, sidelights, and signal lights on this vehicle guarantee that you are always visible to other drivers on the road while the brilliant and visually pleasing set of LED headlights serve to precisely illuminate your route at night.

The dashboard is well-organized with all controls, and the scooter is simple to lift and stow in your boot thanks to the folding mechanism. The D6+ is impressively rated with IP55 standard water resistance, protecting your machine in case it rains while you’re out riding.

The Nanrobot D+ is a device we cannot suggest strongly enough if you’re seeking for a comfortable, safe, powerful, and long-lasting electric scooter for your off-road or around-town excursions!

NANROBOT D6+ Review5

Performance Overview

The Nanrobot D6+ has all the features you would expect from a top-notch electric scooter, but one of its key strengths is its overall performance. Simply put, this vehicle is an off-road monster thanks to its two 1000W engines.

The D6+ is one of the fastest mini-vehicles on the market because to its two brushless motors, which can reach a high speed of 40 mph. However, since this speed might make riders nervous, riders can choose between the Eco and Turbo modes to enjoy lower speeds when they desire.

This electric scooter is equipped with the necessary features to let you navigate rough, uneven, or pothole-filled roads with ease. It first has 10-inch pneumatic off-road tires installed, which provide unrivaled grip and efficient rolling. Furthermore, the scooter has spring-hydraulic suspension fitted on both the front and back wheels to absorb any shocks and keep it absolutely steady.

The broad and long deck, which provides room for a footrest, remarkable stopping power, and a solid and durable frame are additional superb qualities that ensure ideal performance. We also must not forget to remark the ergonomic handlebars and tastefully placed controls that make riding the scooter a breeze.

Top Speed & Acceleration

This electric scooter has two interdependent motors that together generate 2000W and a peak speed of 40 mph (64 km/h). While such a pace is sufficient to make a statement, we advise that you ride reasonably, particularly while navigating congested city streets.

On the Nanrobot D6+, cruising feels quite stable and smooth while you are accelerating. There are two riding modes on the machine that let you choose how you want to assault the pavement. The Eco option lets you travel at reasonable speeds while conserving battery life; in contrast, the Turbo mode turns on both motors and lets you go at breakneck speeds.

Hill Climbing

The D6ability +’s to climb hills is what earns it the moniker “off-road beast.” The scooter’s two 1000W motors enable it to go at a respectable pace while climbing slopes up to a maximum inclination of 30 degrees. Naturally, this will rely on a few factors, like the rider’s weight, the battery’s charge, and the wind’s direction, among others.

Battery Life & Range

A 50V 26AH lithium-ion battery that powers the Nanrobot D6+ has a maximum range of 45 miles (72 km) on a single charge. If you use two chargers simultaneously, you may reduce the charging period from ten hours to roughly five hours. The battery requires ten hours to charge with a single lithium battery charger. But other people contend that this scooter’s battery life, particularly in terms of duration, leaves a lot to be desired.

Motor Configuration

On each wheel of the Nanrobot D6+ electric scooter, there are two hub motors. A combined output of 2,000 watts is produced by the pair. This places the D6+ among the Zero 10x and Dualtron X in the top tier. Although the watts is not stated on the Nanrobot official website as nominal or peak, there is no denying the remarkable power of this little vehicle.

Construction & Build Quality

The scooter’s sturdy build comes in second best after its power, speed, and comfort. Its whole frame is composed of low-density aluminum alloy since it is intended for off-road riding, and it weighs roughly 77 pounds (34 kg). The handlebars are coated in the same substance to decrease friction and make them simple to grip onto, while the deck is cushioned with a rough, rubbery layer to provide traction. D6+ can support up to 330 lbs (149 kg or about two mid-sized adults).

The D6superior +’s dual suspension allows it to handle any rocky or hilly terrain. Its 10-inch tires work nicely with the spring-hydraulic shock-absorbers on the front and back wheels to provide better stability and comfort.

Ride Quality

One of the most cozy and dependable machines available is the D6+. It has a strong, compact frame, a big, cushioned deck, very wide tyres, and tastefully placed controls. Additionally, it has a straightforward locking mechanism for simpler storage and transportation, dual suspension for better shock absorption while riding on uneven terrain, and these features. The e-combination scooter’s of electrical and hydraulic brakes makes stopping it simple. Last but not least, the components are scarcely impacted by water when you’re driving in the rain thanks to the IP55 water resistance grade.

The brakes on this scooter must be strong and trustworthy since it can go at a maximum speed of 40 mph (64 km/h). The high-performance vehicle has hydraulic and electrical brakes that provide almost instantaneous stopping power. Although the brakes are strong and reliable, users should slow down the scooter before stopping. Trying to stop an e-scooter quickly might throw your balance off or possibly cause you to fall awkwardly.

NANROBOT D6+ Review3

Given that it weights a massive 77 pounds (34 kg), users cannot transport the Nanrobot D6+ electric scooter very far. The good news is that it folds and locks without difficulty. The stem may be folded and connected to the scooter’s body using a Two-Snap-On folding mechanism to form a sturdy construction that fits within the boot of a medium-sized car.

Water Resistance

The D6+ is water resistant and has an IP55 rating. This indicates that the majority of the scooter’s parts won’t be harmed by water while you’re riding in the rain or after it stops. Even said, it doesn’t entail that you should test your little car by driving through every puddle or submerging it fully. Be careful with those electrical parts as some still need just a little water exposure.

You’re in luck if you like nighttime escapades! This Nanrobot electric scooter has a number of built-in lights to brighten your route and alert other drivers. It has eye-catching sidelights, rear signal lights, and dazzling LED headlights.

The 10-inch pneumatic off-road tires that support the Nanrobot D6+ body provide great rolling performance and grip for a wonderful ride. So, whether you’re looking for a scooter for everyday usage or simply a weekend trip, the tough tubed tyres will increase stability and make driving on any terrain more pleasant.

NANROBOT D6+ Review6

You won’t need to put your back foot in front of your front foot while using this foldable electric scooter. Due to the 24-cm-wide deck of this scooter, you will have adequate room to keep your feet together while navigating various terrains. Additionally, a broad deck enables you to adopt the proper stance, which is crucial for negotiating uneven terrain or enjoying longer rides.

Controls & Display

The ergonomically designed controls of this high-performance electric scooter are snugly attached to the two handlebars. The brake levers on this scooter are located on both handlebars since it has both front and back brakes. Other controls, including the key lock, horn button, signal-light buttons, and on/off headlight button, are likewise located on the left handlebar.

To the right of the clear LCD display is the accelerator. The latter displays the battery level, riding duration, power level, and other information. Additionally, it has two switches that enable users to change modes.

Reliability, Warranty & Customer Support

D6+ is very trustworthy since it was created by Nanrobot, one of the most recognized electric scooter firms in the world. This device is strong, quick, sturdy, and cozy. A 1-2-year extended warranty is available from Nanrobot, but it costs extra to sign up for it.

Additionally, Nanrobot claims helpful and dependable customer support. Customers’ complaints regarding the original Nanrobot D6 model accounted for the majority of the changes made to the D6+, demonstrating that the company pays attention to and addresses consumer concerns.

Riders should tighten the screws, keep an eye out for any damaged or torn components, and check the tire pressure often to make sure this gadget operates as efficiently as possible. Additionally, adjust the brakes as needed, replace the battery as soon as it begins to age, and dust out the whole scooter after each usage.

Known Issues

D6+ is still very new on the market at the time this review was written, so only a select few have had the opportunity to use it for some time. However, based on our investigation and riding it, we believe there are a few problems that need to be resolved. First, compared to others in its category, its battery life is disappointing. In addition, if the brakes are not adjusted before usage, they may be too tight and cause riders to stutter.

Is this E-Scooter value for money and is it worth buying?

One of the most remarkable electric microcars we’ve seen on the market so far is the Nanrobot D6+. This electric scooter has a remarkable peak speed, plenty of trustworthy safety features, and is quite pleasant to ride. The D6+ can do it all, whether you’re searching for a scooter to explore new off-road paths or go on adventures in town. Despite not being the most affordable, its features fully justify this price. Get yours now and discover all of this for yourself, rather than taking our word for it!

The only issue I had when installing the fenders was that they weren’t aligned with the screw holes, but I managed to fix it. It is much amazing than I had anticipated.
